Sioux Falls, SD One-Day Conference
Accu-Steel is set to be a sponsor at the Beef Facilities Conference in Sioux Falls, S.D. on Nov. 21. The conference shares information pertaining to monoslope buildings, hoop buildings, and slatted floor deep-pit barns for beef feedlot production.
The day-long conference – a cooperative effort of Iowa State University, University of Nebraska, South Dakota State University, and the United States Department of Agriculture – will feature research and extension presentations as well as a producer panel to discuss management considerations for four different types of confinement beef housing.
Topics of conversation will include results of the air emissions study in monoslope buildings, air quality regulations, capturing manure nutrients, building management and cattle performance in these three types of housing facilities.
